That’s the opening lines from the Lubec Totentanz (Dance of Death). There’s a series of pictures depicting death calling and dancing with the emperror, the biship, the nobleman, the doctor, etc. and little poems with all of them. This one’s for the whole thing. I can’t find an English translation I can copy, but here’s a link to one.
(By the way, I would strongly recommend the Distler–one of Dr. Schuler’s favorites–piece.)
